It’s time to get on a bike and sign up for Love to Ride Suffolk – Cycle September.  Masterlord Office Village was the first business estate in Suffolk to offer free loan bicycles to tenants. So, even if you don’t own one, you can still take part in a global bike challenge this autumn and improve your health and fitness too!

Following the success of Ride it Out in March and Bike Month in June, Suffolk County Council is encouraging everyone to sign up to Cycle September in partnership with the global organisation Love To Ride, with the chance to win great prizes.

During the month-long event, businesses and individuals can compete in cycling challenges, with prizes on offer.  You can earn points by cycling, whether it’s to and from the office or a weekend family bike ride, as well as by encouraging others to cycle. You get one point per mile for riding, or ten per day, and 50 points by encouraging an existing rider or 100 for encouraging a new rider.

There’s still time to sign up to Cycle September and, if you register before 11.59pm on August 31, you will be entered into a pre-registration prize draw for one of three £100 local bicycle shop gift cards.

Love to Ride Suffolk are offering two 30-minute webinars to provide your business with everything you need to know about getting involved in Cycle September. The webinars are free of charge and on Thursday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 31.

Book a place.

If cycling isn’t your thing, don’t forget there’s a great range of fitness classes, from Pilates to Zumba and much more, right here at Fitology Studio, 9a Gamma Terrace. Classes are flexibly timed to suit your work schedule, or even over the Bank Holiday weekend!
